This pool is pretty awesome. It has a small water play area for younger kids which includes a lagoon, slippery slide, tipping buckets, water spurting animals and fountain mushroom.  There is also a great 25m pool for everyone else. They have a volleyball court, and fabulous brand new amenities building, all set in a lush tropical garden with plenty of shade. A 20 minute drive out of Gin Gin along the Mt Perry Road you will find the Boolboonda Tunnel. The longest unsupported tunnel in the southern hemisphere! A must see local attraction. We have fond memories of visiting the tunnel as kids.

Just before the tunnel entrance is a huge tree , which is customary for tunnel visitors to carve their name into. A picnic table is located under the tree, a perfect spot for a rest while the kids play! Read our Boolboonda Tunnel blog for directions.

Bucca Crossing

Bucca Crossing

Bucca Crossing is a tranquil picnic area just 25 minutes from Gin Gin and somewhere our Wide Bay Kids love to visit. The Kolan River flows through the crossing and makes for a perfect swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and canoeing spot with kids. Read our Bucca Crossing Blog for directions.
