About the Program

What’s the Digital Mentor Program?
You’ll be trained to become a volunteer Digital Mentor, someone who helps older people in our community learn how to use phones, tablets, email, video calls, and more. You don’t need to be a tech expert, just someone who’s comfortable using technology and keen to help others

Who We Are Looking For

Who can become a Digital Mentor?
We’re seeking 100 enthusiastic people from across the Bundaberg region!
You are:
- Aged 18 to 101 years
- A student looking for work experience
- A volunteer already involved in the local community
- A professional wanting to make a difference
- Comfortable using tech and want to help others
- Have time to attend training to learn to be a digital mentor
- Have time to deliver tech help sessions to older community members
