2025 Annual Salvation Army Motorcycle Toy Run – Bargara to Bundaberg
The Annual Salvation Army Motorcycle Toy Run returns on Saturday 6 December 2025, bringing riders together to support local children and families in need. Starting at The Basin in Bargara from 8am, the ride invites motorcyclists to donate a new, unwrapped toy that will be gifted to a child this Christmas. This long-running community tradition blends generosity, mateship and Christmas spirit, with hundreds of riders expected to join the morning ride.

⏰ Gather from 8am | Ride departs 9am

The ride will depart The Basin at 9am, heading first to Kendalls Flats for a short regroup stop at 9.30am. From there, riders will travel through Bundaberg’s CBD and continue along the Ring Road before turning onto McCarthys Road and finishing at the Salvation Army Hall. Upon arrival, riders will be welcomed with a sausage sizzle and drink, with prizes donated by local businesses up for grabs.
The Toy Run is a meaningful way for riders to support the Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal, helping bring joy to children who may otherwise go without gifts. All toys collected are distributed directly to local families, ensuring donations stay within the Bundaberg community.
This event is coordinated by John “Smithy” Smith, who continues to lead the annual ride with strong support from the region’s motorcycling community. While the event listing is shared by Bundaberg Harley-Davidson for convenience, the Toy Run itself is independently organised.
The morning offers a great atmosphere, a scenic group ride, and the chance to make a real difference to families during the festive season. Riders of all styles and experience levels are welcome to attend, with community spirit at the heart of the event.
