Bundaberg Show 2026 Days of Family Fun
by Renee Bock · Published · Updated

If you’ve grown up going to the Show, or you’re keen to start a new family tradition, the Bundaberg Show is back in 2026 for three days of classic country-show fun. It’s the kind of event that works for all ages little kids who just want to see the animals, teens chasing rides and showbags, and adults who love a wander through the exhibits, plus something tasty to eat along the way. It’s also a nice reminder of how much talent, produce and community spirit lives right here in our region.
Held at University Drive, Bundaberg, the Bundaberg Show 2026 runs from Wednesday 27 May to Friday 29 May with the Bundaberg show public holiday on Thursday 28th May. Expect the familiar favourites like Sideshow Alley with carnival rides, games, and plenty of bright lights once the sun goes down. There’s also a strong “show” side to the Show with a mix of equestrian events, cattle judging, horticulture displays, and creative arts and crafts that celebrate local skill and hard work. Food is part of the fun too, with all the classics like fairy floss and dagwood dogs, plus the always-popular Show Bag pavilion for anyone planning a sweet or not-so-sweet haul.
Beyond the entertainment, events like the Bundaberg Show bring people together in a way that’s hard to replicate. You get a shared day out, a chance to run into friends you haven’t seen in ages, and an easy way for kids to learn about animals, agriculture, and what goes into the food and goods we rely on every day. It’s also a chance to support local exhibitors, competitors, and community groups who help keep these traditions alive.
