Childers Neighbourhood Centre School Holiday Fun: Under the Sea & Space Week

Childers School Holiday Fun: Under the Sea & Space Week
Families in Childers can look forward to two free, creative events these spring school holidays, offering children, parents, grandparents, and residents the chance to come together for fun, learning, and connection.
The first event, Under the Sea – Intergenerational Play, will be held on Monday 29 September from 10am to 11:30am at Forest View Care, 4 Morgan Street, Childers. This special morning invites children, families, and residents to explore the wonders of the ocean through play and creativity. With sea-themed dress-ups encouraged, the session is designed to spark imagination while building connections across generations.
Later in the week, Space Week will launch on Friday 3 October from 9:30am to 11:30am at the Isis Cultural Centre, 49 Churchill Street, Childers. This morning of space-themed crafts, activities, and games is perfect for budding astronauts, stargazers, and space explorers. Children will be inspired to think big, dream beyond, and enjoy hands-on activities in a supportive environment.
Both events are free to attend, but bookings are essential through the Childers Neighbourhood Centre. To secure a place, phone 4130 4690 or email cnc@bundaberg.qld.gov.au.
