Curious Crafters – Creative Holiday Sessions at The Craft Library

Curious Crafters at The Craft Library offers a hands-on, choose-your-own-adventure style creative experience for kids and families these school holidays. Held at the Riverfeast Precinct on Scotland Street, each session invites crafters to explore four different creative stations using a wide range of materials, textures and tools. With the freedom to choose how long they spend at each activity, children can create at their own pace in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

When families arrive, they can settle in by placing their belongings on the racks and tables provided, then take a seat on the large floor rug. Snacks and drinks are allowed while waiting for the session to begin. Once everyone is comfortable, Vicki and Shayna will run through the session outline, house rules, and show participants where to find the toilets and activity areas.

Each session includes four creative stations, and children have complete choice in how they explore them what materials they use, how they combine them and the amount of time spent at each. This open-ended format encourages creativity, independence and imaginative play while still providing supervision and guidance as needed.

Parents and carers must supervise all crafters under 18 years, and families are encouraged to purchase tickets according to the correct age group for that session. Group pricing is available for families wishing to attend together.

Curious Crafters sessions offer a calm, creative and flexible environment that supports all skill levels, making it an ideal screen-free holiday activity. With limited spaces available, families can secure their preferred session time via the booking link.
