Everything You Need to Know About Bundy’s Biggest Picnic 2025
Bundy’s Biggest Picnic is bringing the community together for two huge afternoons this September at Christsen Park, 1A Esplanade, Bargara. Picture one giant, custom-made picnic blanket – about 260 square metres – where friends, families, and individuals can gather, relax, and connect.

Spot Size: 2.5m x 2m (fits approx. 4 adults)
Food: BYO or pre-order a $30 platter

On Arrival
We’re expecting over 300 people at our very first picnic, so check-in might be busy. If possible, arrive a little after 3pm to skip the rush. Please have your booking confirmation ready to show our volunteers when you arrive. They’ll escort you to your booked spot on our giant picnic blanket.

Food Options
Bring your own picnic or pre-order a $30 platter when booking.
Pre-order platters includes OB Finest Wafer Crackers, Mixed Olives, D’orsogna Tasty Sticks, Mild KRC Hungarian Salami, Tasmanian Heritage Double Brie, Hans Kabana. Serves approx. two adults and is collected on arrival.
What’s On
- Giant lawn games – Granny Pants, Guess Who, Battle Ships, Scrabble, Connect 4
- Board games, cards, jigsaws, charades
- Live music – Abigail Williams (4pm–6pm)
- Silent disco – 5pm–6pm
- Conversation starters and plenty of friendly faces
What to Bring
- Picnic food (if not pre-ordering) and non-alcoholic drinks
- Cutlery, napkins, cups
- Cushions or camp chairs
Please don’t bring: alcohol, drugs, vapes, cigarettes, pets, speakers or portable shade and BBQs. (you can use park BBQs away from the blanket).

- There are 46 parking spaces at Christsen Park.
- There is no parking on Baxter Street.
- Please do not park at the Bargara Golf Club, this car park is for Club patrons and guests only.
- Street parking is available along The Esplanade (North of Christsen Park entrance) and Miller Street (South of Christsen Park entrance).
- There are accessible parking spaces in the car park at Christsen Park with step free access to the park and playground.
- There is a drop off point at Christsen Park with step free access to the park and playground.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by Attendees:
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 3–6 days of the event will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event are non-refundable.
- Refunds will not be issued for no-shows.
Cancellations by Organisers:
In the event that the organiser needs to cancel the event/s, all registered attendees will be notified as soon as possible. Attendees will be provided a full refund. The organiser reserves the right to cancel the event if minimum booking numbers are not met. In such cases, full refunds will be provided.
