Where: Poona Recreation Grounds

What’s on: BBQ lunch, lots of Aussie games with prizes for kids 

Time: 7am to 3pm

Where: Scarness Park

What’s on: bbq breakfast, games, prizes, live music, vintage motor bike display, rural fire brigade, stationary engines, whip maker, kids rides, ferris wheel, climbing wall, pig train and jumping castle. Sausage sizzle, burgers, lamingtons, soft drinks, ice cream and coffee available for purchase.

Time: 9:30am to 4:30pm

Where: Hervey Bay Historical Village

What’s on: free tractor rides, children’s games, sheep shearing, tug ‘o’ war, alpacas, cross cut saw competition, thong and horse shoe throwing, whip making, wood turning and blacksmith, corn shelling, rope making, spinners and weavers, spinning painting, on the hour “Treasures of the Museum” tours, raffles with great prizes, food and drinks available for purchase

Wetside FREE Water Park Hervey Bay is an awesome place to hang out on Australia Day

Time: 10am - 5pm

Where: Wetside Water Park, Esplanade, Hervey Bay

What’s on: Free water park, board rider ($6, 4 minutes) and big slides (10 rides $5)

Time: 7:30pm

Where: Wetside Water Park

What’s on: Free light show

Time: 10am - 2pm

Where: Jump Trampoline Park Hervey Bay

What’s on: Park open on Australia Day for some jumping good fun. Bounce on in from 10am to 2pm for some great Australia Day fun. Bookings essential.
