Total – 35–50 mins
Step 1 – Prepare the base
Place your dough, ready-made pizza base, or wrap on a baking tray lined with baking paper, or use a pizza stone.
Step 2 – Spread the sauce
Spread tomato paste evenly over the base, leaving a small edge for the crust.
Step 3 – Add cheese
Sprinkle a layer of cheese over the base. This can be done before or after adding toppings.
Step 4 – Layer on toppings
Chop or slice your fresh ingredients and spread them evenly across the base.
Step 5 – Add protein (optional)
Top with your choice of protein. The order of toppings doesn’t matter.
Step 6 – Bake
Cook in a preheated oven at 220°C for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese has melted and is bubbling. (Dough bases may take a little longer.)
Step 7 – Serve
Remove carefully, allow to cool for a few minutes, then slice and enjoy.
Remember: there’s no such thing as the “perfect pizza” every one is different!
