Get Active This September with Netball Queensland Clinics
Looking for something fun, active and skill-building for the kids these school holidays? Netball Queensland’s September Clinics are the perfect way to keep children moving, learning and making friends.
What are the Clinics?
Netball Queensland Clinics are designed to offer a variety of on- and off-court sessions led by experienced coaches. Activities include skill drills, game play, team building, strategy and more — all to help participants improve their netball, make new friends, and have heaps of fun. (qld.netball.com.au)
There are three clinic types, so you can pick what best suits your child:
- Woolworths NetSetGO — for kids aged 5–10. No prior experience required. Sessions introduce netball basics in a safe, fun environment.
When & Where
Here are some of the upcoming clinic dates and locations:
- Woolworths NetSetGO
- Hervey Bay – September 25, 9–11 am
- Bundaberg – September 26, 9–11 am
These clinics are running through late September into early October.
FAQs / Important Details
- Do kids need prior netball experience? — No. All skill levels are welcome. The Woolworths NetSetGO clinics are especially beginner-friendly.
- Do parents need to stay? — Parents are welcome to stay and watch, but it’s not required. They do need to check in and check out with their child.
- Booking with friends? — Yes! You can request for children to be placed in the same group if booked into the same level of clinic.
- What to bring/wear — Comfortable active wear, sports or netball-appropriate shoes, water bottle. If attending full-day clinics, bring lunch and a snack. (Note: any food brought must be nut free.)
