School holidays can be the perfect time to get kids outside, hands-on, and a little bit muddy especially if you’re looking for something that isn’t another screen or another noisy indoor activity. Little Green Thumbs Kids’ Gardening is a simple, feel-good session where children can learn the basics of growing things, in a way that’s practical and fun. If you’ve got a child who loves digging in the yard, collecting leaves, or asking a million questions about plants, this is the kind of activity that usually lands well and you’ll likely head home with a proud little gardener.

This session is for kids up to 12 years and is a hands-on gardening adventure. Children will get to plant their own seedlings, dig in the soil, pull a few weeds, and learn what it takes to help a garden grow. There’s also a chance to taste-test fresh foods they’ve helped plant, which can be a great way to encourage curiosity around healthy eating and where food comes from.
