The December workshops include Coding Adventures, introductory drones, Robot Mania and LEGO® Dragster Dash. Each program blends creativity with hands-on experimentation, encouraging younger and older participants to work through challenges, explore technology and develop new skills. January workshops build on this with advanced drone levels, LEGO® amusement park projects and Robo Rider challenges, along with a Makey Makey art session that turns drawings into interactive digital creations. All sessions feature small group sizes and supervised, guided activities led by experienced facilitators.
These workshops are structured to suit a variety of interests and experience levels, making them suitable for beginners as well as children who have attended previous Makerspace programs. With bookings opening early for each month, families are encouraged to secure places quickly due to limited capacity. The Makerspace holiday program continues to be one of the most popular STEM offerings in the region, providing meaningful hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and confidence.
