Music Bingo & Trivia Fundraiser – A Fun Afternoon for a Good Cause

The Kepnock Scout Group is hosting a Music Bingo & Trivia Fundraiser this March, and it’s shaping up to be an easy, enjoyable way to spend a Sunday. Whether you’re keen for a catch-up with friends, a family outing with older kids, or just something a little different on the weekend calendar, this event brings together music, laughter and community spirit.
Held at Brothers Sports Club in Kensington, the fundraiser combines two crowd favourites – music bingo and trivia – in a friendly, welcoming setting. It’s the kind of event where you can grab lunch from the bistro, settle in with a drink, and enjoy a few hours of light-hearted competition.
On Sunday 15 March, doors open at 12.30pm for a 1.30pm start, running through to 3.30pm. Guests can expect five rounds of music bingo and trivia, with plenty of well-known tunes mixed in. It’s $2 per round to play, making it an affordable afternoon out, and there will be prizes up for grabs along the way. A raffle will also be held on the day, giving everyone a few extra chances to win.
The event is suitable for a wide range of ages, though it’s best suited to older primary school children, teens and adults who’ll recognise the music and enjoy the trivia element. You can book a seat for yourself or organise a whole table with friends or family.
Beyond the fun, this fundraiser supports the local Kepnock Scout Group. Funds raised go towards providing young people with opportunities to build confidence, learn practical skills and take part in outdoor adventures and community activities. Scouting plays an important role in helping children and teens develop resilience, teamwork and independence. By attending, families are helping to keep these opportunities accessible and strong in the Wide Bay region.
