Rainbow Day 2025

Rainbow Day 2025 – A Free Morning of Fun for Under 5s
Rainbow Day is returning to Bundaberg this September as part of Child Protection Week 2025, bringing with it a morning full of free fun, colour, and community connection.
Held at the Bundaberg PCYC on Friday 12 September from 9am to 12noon, Rainbow Day is an annual favourite for local families with children under five. Hosted by the Child Protection Week Action Group (CPWAG), this free event has been running for over 20 years to raise awareness that protecting children is everyone’s business.
There’ll be a jumping castle, sausage sizzle, and loads of hands-on activities designed to keep little ones busy and happy. It’s also a great chance for families to meet local agencies and services that support children and young families in our community. Mascots, craft stations, and sensory play are just a few of the experiences families can expect on the day.
If you’re a local organisation or business wanting to get involved, stalls are free and come with a table and two chairs, just bring your own public liability insurance and a fun, engaging activity to share. Email your completed registration form to sheridyn.wood@dcssds.qld.gov.au by Monday 9 September 2025.
