Woodgate’s most creative weekend is back this October! From Friday, 3 October to Monday, 6 October 2025, the Woodgate Community Events team will once again host the Arts in Spring Festival, a four-day celebration of creativity, community, and connection.

The festival kicks off with the Gala Exhibition Opening on Friday night, offering the first look at a curated collection of works from featured artists. Guests can enjoy a stylish evening of fine art, music, and conversation, with all artworks available for purchase. Tickets go on sale from 1 September.
Throughout the weekend, the Youth Art Exhibit returns for its second year, showcasing the incredible talent of Wide Bay’s young artists aged 5–18. This year’s theme, “My Story”, invites children and teens to share their personal stories through painting, drawing, photography, or sculpture. Registrations close Sunday, 14 September, with prizes awarded across four age categories plus a People’s Choice Award announced at the Monday markets.
Saturday is all about families in the park, with drop-in workshops, live art demonstrations, yoga in the park, face painting, and guided walks through Banksia Park. The weekend winds up on Monday with the ever-popular artisan markets, offering a chance to browse handmade treasures and visit the exhibition one last time.
