Come and celebrate the world’s oldest living culture at the inaugural 1770 Cultural Connections Immersion Festival on 4–5 October 2025.
This free two-day event is packed with cultural performances, live music, food, art, dance, workshops, market stalls, and hands-on activities for all ages. Everyone is welcome — bring yourself, your family, your friends, and share in a weekend of community and connection.
Headline performers include:
Mau Power – Torres Strait hip-hop artist, storyteller, and cultural leader
Edward Lampton – Soulful five-octave vocalist blending pop, gospel, and cultural tradition
Nicole Lampton – Vocal mentor and performer known for heartfelt, original songwriting
DJ L Boogie – Spinning Ol Skool sounds to get you dancing and reminiscing
Emergency Services Expo – Saturday only
Running 10:00am to 3:30pm on Saturday 4 October, the Agnes Water and Surrounds Emergency Services Expo will be held within the festival. Chat with emergency and health service teams, learn about local disaster preparedness, and enjoy a BBQ fundraiser supporting the Agnes Water Rural Fire Station.
