The Baffle Creek Family Fishing Festival is hosted by the Baffle Creek Fishing Club, a sub-group of Baffle Creek Community Inc.
The recreational fishers amongst us will take to the fantastic waters around Baffle Creek as often as they choose during the week-long event, vying for great prizes!
As we encourage sustainable fishing practices, our competition is purely Catch, Snap & Release with our own custom APP to upload your
catch.
At the end of a fun-filled week of fishing and exploring our beautiful area, our local sports grounds will come to life with bush-style entertainment, festivities and fun for all. The festival offers families and friends the opportunity to put the stresses of modern life aside for a few days with their favourite people in a truely beautiful natural environment, while providing significant benefits to our local community.
Competition Information
Fishing Times: Midday Monday 21st September to Midday Saturday 26th September 2020
Entry Registration Opens: June 1st via Web Page, Facebook, email or in person at Baffle Creek Rural & Fishing Supplies
Entry Registration Closes: Early Bird Registration & Merchandise Pre-orders ends – midnight Saturday 1st of August 2020. Registration closes (in person) – 10:00am Friday 25th of September 2020 / (online) – midnight Friday 18th September 2020.
Entry Fees:
- Senior (16 years & over): $35
- Junior (8 – 15 years): $15
- Pre-Junior (3 – 7 years): $10
All boats or groups will need at least one Baffle Creek Family Fishing Festival Brag Mat. Official Brag Mat from previous years can be used or otherwise purchase one for $10 on top of your entry fees.
Family Fun Day: Baffle Creek Community Grounds from 12pm till 8pm – Saturday 26th September. Entry – $5 per person or $20 family (FREE Entry for registered competitors).
