Work with Wide Bay Kids
Wide Bay Kids envisions a thriving, resilient and inclusive Wide Bay community where every family, young person and individual feels connected, supported and empowered to participate fully in community life. We see a region where access to information, services and opportunities strengthens wellbeing, builds belonging, and creates lasting social connection across generations.
Our goal is to bring people, services, businesses and community groups together to solve local challenges and create opportunities for connection, growth and wellbeing. Through practical, placebased engagement, evidence-informed programs, and community-led initiatives we aim to improve access to support, foster meaningful relationships, and strengthen social and economic outcomes across the Wide Bay region.
We are guided by values that reflect the heart of our work:
Community: We believe in fostering a strong, connected community where families and individuals feel a sense of belonging. By sharing stories, promoting local events, and supporting community-led initiatives, we help create an environment where everyone can thrive.
Connection: We bridge the gap between families, businesses, and services to ensure everyone in the Wide Bay region has access to the information and support they need. Through media, storytelling, and community engagement, we create meaningful connections that enhance wellbeing and social cohesion.
Family: Families are at the heart of everything we do. We provide accessible information, activities, and services that support parents and caregivers, ensuring that all children in the Wide Bay region have opportunities to learn, play, and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.
Safety: We are committed to promoting safety for children, families, and the wider community by sharing valuable resources, advocating for evidence-based family-friendly initiatives, and working with organisations that prioritise child and family wellbeing.
Support: We recognise that not everyone has the same access to services or opportunities. That’s why we actively work to provide information and create pathways that connect socially isolated individuals and families to the support networks they need.
Inclusion: We champion inclusivity by promoting diverse voices, perspectives, and experiences within our community. Through our initiatives, we ensure that all families regardless of background or circumstance feel welcome, valued, and empowered to participate in community life.
Together, we work to build a stronger, more connected Wide Bay where all community members can thrive.

"Wide Bay Kids was an excellent resource for promoting our children's show 'Wilbur the Optical Whale' to the younger audiences of Bundaberg. With a great reach in the community and a passion for promoting diverse kids' activities, they were simply wonderful to work with. We will definitely be contacting them again when we are back in town in the future. Thanks, Wide Bay Kids!"

"I chose to use Wide Bay Kids as the name and platform has a great reputation and following with families and community in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay region. Wide Bay Kids advertising also uses a range of platforms from printed to socials and this was a giant plus for me as a business owner. Wide Bay Kids advertising is great quality, and they know what is popular through current research, taking advantage of REELS and TikTok as a new trending platform"
