Bringing Up Great Kids

Bringing up Great Kids is a 6 week program helping parents and carers build their reflective capacity & resilience towards parenting.

Peirson Services will be running the very popular Bringing up Great Kids parenting program Term 2, 2022 there will be two different variations offered for the first time.

The two courses on offer;

Foundational BUGK is aimed at parents/care givers that need support to develop more self-awareness around their parenting style and who would benefit from developing a more child focused approach to parenting. This program is focused on enabling parents/care givers to be more conscious of the messages that they send to their children and how being more self-regulated and connected to their children can have a positive impact on family interactions and child development.

BUGK Adolescents is aimed at parents/care givers that already have some sense of connection in the family and are actively looking for ways to support their teenagers and family functioning during this new phase of life. This program specifically supports parents to become more confident and flexible to manage and interact meaningfully with their teenagers. Participants in this group would typically be more likely to have a reasonable level of self-awareness, self-regulation and be motivated to develop new skills

Peirson Services will be delivering the individual intake sessions from now until mid-April 2022.  This will ensure  the group dynamics and alleviate social anxiety somewhat by showing people around so they are aware of what they will be coming to.  Peirson Services have received great feedback from  parents who have been attending each term, calmer homes and more settled children. This has always been a great asset to our community so please read, share and ask people to contact Peirson Services for more information.
