Bundaberg Garden Festival

The Bundaberg Garden Festival is returning in August, bringing two days of plants, garden inspiration, stalls, food and community connection to the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct.
This free community event is a great option for families who enjoy being outdoors, browsing local stalls and finding simple ideas for the garden at home. Whether you’re a keen gardener, just starting out, or looking for a relaxed weekend outing with the kids, the festival offers plenty to wander through at your own pace.
The event will be held on Saturday 15 August and Sunday 16 August 2026 at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct on Kendalls Road. Entry is free, and free parking is available.
Families can expect a range of plant stalls, garden art stalls, lifestyle and nature stalls, outdoor equipment stalls, workshops, raffles, competitions, food and drink vans, coffee vans, a canteen and dining areas. Garden clubs and bus groups are also welcome, making it a community event that brings together gardeners, local makers, not-for-profit groups and visitors from across the region.
Events like this are a lovely way for children to experience gardens, plants and outdoor spaces in a relaxed environment. It can spark curiosity about growing food, caring for plants, insects, flowers and the natural world. For adults, it’s a chance to pick up practical ideas, support local stallholders and enjoy a slower day out. The Bundaberg Garden Festival also supports local not-for-profit organisations, adding another community layer to the weekend. For families, it’s a simple, low-cost outing with plenty to see, eat and explore.
