Bundaberg Multicultural Fair 2026

The Bundaberg Multicultural Fair 2026 is coming up on Saturday 10 October, and organisers are inviting cultural groups, community organisations, performers and stallholders to be part of the celebration.
This community event is all about sharing culture, connection and diversity across the Bundaberg Region. It’s a chance for families to experience different traditions, foods, performances and stories in one welcoming community space. For local cultural groups and community organisations, it’s also an opportunity to showcase what they do and share something meaningful with the wider community.
Expressions of Interest are now open for people and groups who would like to take part. Organisers are looking for participants who can help showcase culture through traditional food and drinks, cultural arts and crafts, displays, music, dance, performances, traditional practices, demonstrations and interactive experiences.
Whether you’re representing a cultural community, sharing a family or community tradition, or creating an activity that celebrates diversity, this is a chance to get involved early. Submitting an Expression of Interest sooner gives stallholders, community groups and performers more time to plan, prepare and rehearse ahead of the event.
Events like the Multicultural Fair are important because they help families learn about the people and cultures that make up our region. For children, these celebrations can build curiosity, respect and understanding in a natural way — through food, music, art, dance and conversation.
For adults, it’s a chance to connect with neighbours, support community groups and celebrate the many backgrounds represented in Bundaberg. It’s also a practical way to make culture visible, shared and celebrated in everyday community life.
