Bundaberg Pump Track
Bundaberg Pump Track
The Bundaberg Pump Track is open and our Wide Bay Kids have given it a big thumbs up!
We're so glad! It has been a long time coming and is the perfect spot to burn off some energy for our Wide Bay Kids.
The park is situated at Avoca and is bound by Branyan and Houston Drive within an existing park setting.
The pump track adjoins a lovely shady playground with lots of space to picnic, or play games of cricket or footy!
This is going to be an awesome spot for families with both big and little kids being catered for in the one spot.
The Pump Track
The Bundaberg Pump Track includes a sealed pump track with off-road terrain. The Council say that it is suitable for:
- bikes
- skateboards
- scooters
but we could see roller skates or roller derby being awesome fun on the track as well.
For parents of yonger kids this is going to be an awesome place to visit when the bigger kids are at school. I can see the under 5's just loving this track especially the middle section which has some smaller bumps for them build their confidence on.
This track is going to be a great addition to our community and we think the Bundaberg Regional Council have done an awesome job getting us one here.
The Playgound
There is an existing playgound adjacent to the Pump Track which includes a slide, swings, monkey bars and a sheltered area with picnic tables.
There are plenty of lovely shady spots for picnics and some pretty awesome looking trees to climb. There is also lots of wide open space, I had no idea this park area was so large.
The Facilities
What's there
Pump track, playground, sheltered area with picnic tables, lots of large open space, lovely shaded areas and great looking trees to climb. Avoca IGA is also situated diagonally across the road.
New toilets are now on site as well as new shade erected over the pump track.
