Twinkle Town
Join us as we kick off the festive season by officially switching on the Christmas lights! Held in the Bundaberg CBD, there will be entertainment from local schools, and performers - including music from Council's Spark Starter Project participants. Santa and Mrs Claus will also be making an appearance on the night.
The main streets of Bundaberg, Childers and Gin Gin will come alive with stunning Christmas light displays for the month of December. Take the family for a stroll and enjoy the twinkling trees.

Christmas Village
Step foot into an enchanting Christmas Village as the Botanic Gardens are transformed for this year’s Merry and Bright. Make your way around the dazzling light display and enjoy the many delights of the Christmas Village event. In the village you can meet Santa and Mrs Claus and try to avoid the Grinch if you can!
There will be entertainment from Spark Starter performers, Christmas alpacas, reindeer and even a snow globe photo booth!
Food and drink will be available from a variety of food trucks on the night and Café 1928 will be open.

Light Night
In this free version of the Merry and Bright event the beauty of the twinkling lights in the lush gardens take centre stage for Light Night.
The mesmerising light display – which is the highlight of Merry and Bright event – will stand alone on Light Night.
Café 1928 will be open to the public for food and drinks.

DINING
Childers Community Christmas Luncheon
Come along and celebrate the festive season with a delicious roast lunch, dessert, tea and coffee at the Isis Club.
Hosted by the Childers Neighbourhood Centre the luncheon is an opportunity to celebrate the year that was in a welcoming and inclusive setting.
Sure to keep everyone entertained, the event will also feature a mini cent sale as well as live music to get those toes tapping.

Christmas Sparkles at the Gardens
Feel the festive fun as soon as you arrive with a complimentary glass of bubbles and delicious grazing station and entertainment.
Bre Ferguson will entertain merry-makers before they move to the Gardens Room for a two-course meal featuring traditional and festive favourites.
The bar will be open for service throughout the evening and tea and barista coffee also available.

A Naughty Kristmas with Karda-Nay
Karda-Nay and friends will share funny stories of Christmases gone by, perform favourite festive tunes and play themed games.
Come ready to pull a Christmas cracker or two, have a laugh, be festive, be merry and have a fabulous evening.
The team at Oodies will pair the evening with a two-course Christmas-inspired meal. Special cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, tea and coffee will be available to purchase. 18+

Christmas by the Greens
Celebrate the beginning of summer and wind down for Christmas as we relax with cold beverages and cocktail foods as the sun sets.
HSG will be joined by Jo Stumbles from Sam Smith and Sons and Brett Dos from Wynestory Group who will both showcase two of their beautiful sparkling wines.
Tickets include four glasses of premium sparkling, handpicked by the wine hosts and a selection of hot and cold seafood canapes (all GF).

CHRISTMAS ON BAUBLE ST
Bauble Dining Night
Step inside your own personal festive wonderland for our Bauble Dining events. The half domes are covered in twinkling fairy lights and the sounds of the season will serve to surround guests with the magic of Christmas.
Be transported to a Christmas wonderland for an evening of wining and dining!
Tickets include a three-course meal and drinks package which includes a selection of sparkling, white and red wine, beers and soft drink. BYO is not permitted.

Bauble Family Night
Bring your own picnic style dinner, platters and non-alcoholic drinks as you experience the magic of dining in a perfectly decorated bauble without the set catering package.
A paid bar with beer, wine and soft drink will be operating during the evening. BYO alcohol is not permitted.
