Bundaberg Regional Libraries Summer School Holiday Activities

Bundaberg Regional Libraries Summer School Holiday Activities

Escape Room Fun! Drop into one of our library branches to experience an Escape Room with a difference. Each library location will have a box containing the Escape Room experience, allowing you and your friends to set up the Escape Room anywhere in the library. These Escape Rooms ‘in a Box’ are only available during school holidays.

Board Games and More! Feeling bored? Why not drop in and borrow, or stay and play, one of our board games? You could also borrow DVDs, magazines, graphic novels, or a book full of activity ideas. Or simply drop in and enjoy the air conditioning.

Summer Reading Club – fun and prizes* Your adventure awaits in every challenge of the Summer Reading Club. This is a free club that encourages children and youth to have fun reading and learning over the long summer holidays. This flexible program allows kids to complete challenges, take part in the fun at their own pace and have the chance to win some prizes along the way. Free sign up at any of our libraries or check this link for more information.

Unique Sentences from little Queenslanders Do you have a unique sentence to describe where you live? Examples: ‘Brolgas
bugling in Bundaberg’, ‘Geckos grinning in Gin Gin’, ‘Chickens cheering in Childers’. Drop into any of our libraries and add your unique sentence to the display and have a chance to win a special prize! This will also complete Challenge 20 of the Summer Reading Club.
