Bundy Flavours QCWA Cookery Competition
Bundy Flavours QCWA Cookery Competition
In a festival first, Bundy Flavours Festival and the QCWA Bundaberg Branch, have joined forces for the Bundy Flavours QCWA Cookery Competition, where all entries must highlight a local, Bundaberg Region ingredient.
The competition is open to amateur cooks and bakers and includes three categories, sweet and savoury slices for those over 12 and the kids novelty local fruit or vegetable creation category for those under 12.
Council is keen to promote the use of local produce and flavours. The partnership with the QCWA Bundaberg Branch is a wonderful opportunity for all ages to participate in cooking and using local fresh produce as well as getting some helpful hints along the way.
Entry to the competition is free and must highlight local ingredients. All entries must be lodged by 10am at QCWA Site at the Bundy Flavours Festival. Winners will be announced on the Aromas Stage during the CWA cooking demonstration from 12.30pm to 1.10pm. So if you love cooking get cracking!
