Cave Quest – Uniting Church Day Camp 2024
Day Camp is back!
This year our theme is “Cave Quest, Following Jesus, The light of the World”.
No, your children will not be going into a cave – but every day we will dive into the theme a little bit more so that by the time Friday comes we will be ready to be Cave Explorers.
Each morning you will take your children to the church and we will take them on a bus to Wyper park. Out there we will spend the day playing, bushwalking, making craft, making dampers, and spending time learning about our theme and talking about God.
The older kids will get to go canoeing and assailing and our younger children will be busy decorating cupcakes, playing games, bushwalking and having tons of fun.
Safe to say, we will do our very best to not only make sure your child is safe, but that they also come home happy and hopefully exhausted (and if not the campers, I can promise the Leaders and Helpers will be tired every afternoon )
When is it?
Monday 24th June to Friday 28th June 2024 – 1st week of the June/July school holidays (as per state schools)
Weekly costs?
$100.00 per child.
Who can go?
Prep to Year 7
Drop off is by 8:20am each day and pick up at 4pm sharp. All you need to supply is a normal school lunch for your child, hat and water bottle.
We understand that our days are more adventurous than school, so we have made sure to include a quiet area for them if they need a little break (and for any of the Helpers and Leaders reading this – no! You can’t just ditch your team to come have a nap! 😉
