Childers Festival 2016

My family are so excited to be heading to the Childers Festival again this year.  Every year we make the trip to Childers for Festival Day.  We always return home absolutely exhausted but with large smiling faces.  This year the event has grown even bigger with more activities being held on Friday and Saturday and Monday.

Following is a list I have compiled of activities that are being held during the Festival:

Friday Events:

Off the Wagon Wine Tours, from 9am to 4:30pm $99 per person, $60 under 17

Isis Central Sugar Mill Cane Farm and Fire Tour,  from 3:30pm – $39 per person, $15 per child under 12

Working Lights RAW Musical at the Isis Cultural Centre 7pm – $15 per person | $12 concession | $10 u17

Festival Dinner in the Winery – Hill of Promise Winery – $65 per person

Saturday Events:

Off the Wagon Wine Tours, from 9am to 4:30pm $99 per person, $60 under 17

Art in the Park – Millennium Park (free entry) 9am to 2pm

Public Art Tour and Memorial Talk – leaves from CHARTS 3pm to 5pm $10 per person

Bus Tour – Childers District starts at QCWA- $8, 10am and 1pm

Paragon Theatre Tours – Churchill Street at 11:30 $15

CHILDERS FESTIVAL Street Party – Crescent Street Variety of Food & Market Stalls and entertainment on Main Stage (free entry) 2pm to 10pm

Opera at the Lake – Lake Redbrook Holiday Park with OperaQ – A $25 from 3pm

Multicultural Mass – The Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Prayers will be said in various languages (free entry) time TBA

Working Lights RAW Musical at the Isis Cultural Centre 2pm and 7pm – $15 per person | $12 concession | $10 u17

Sunday Events:

FESTIVAL DAY Churchill and Crescent Streets 100’s of Food & Market Stalls with 5 stages of Entertainment free entry 9am-3:30pm

Monday Events:

Off the Wagon Wine Tours, from 9am to 4:30pm $99 per person, $60 under 17
