Easier Simpler and Fairer Public Transport For Bundaberg
From 16 January 2023, Translink will introduce a consistent simplified fare and zone structure across all regional networks, helping provide customers with an equitable public transport experience – no matter where you travel in regional Queensland.
As part of the changes, Bundaberg's one-zone fare will decrease from $2.50 to $2.40 (adult) and $1.30 to $1.20 (concession) and a consistent zonal fare increment of $0.60 (adult) and $0.30 (concession) will be introduced.
The new fare zone increment will replace the previous zonal increases which ranged from $0.40 to $1.00 (adult) and $0.20 to $0.50 (concession).

The number of zones on the Bundaberg network will also decrease from six to five, meaning customers can travel further for less.
But that isn't all that is changing.
From 16 January 2023, Bundaberg will transfer from qconnect to Translink.
The change will provide customers with access to Translink's 24/7 call centre, website, social media channels, MyTranslink app, journey planner, and improved signage and passenger information.
