How to make Elastic Hair Ties

Great Stocking Stuffers or Class Presents

These would have to be one of the easiest stocking stuffers ever to make as well as being super comfy to wear.  My daugther made a heap of these for her class mates for end of year class gifts and they were greatfully received.

What you need

fold over elastic

scissors

gift tag

What to do

Cut elastic into 15cm lengths

Tie a knot

Slide onto gift tag and you are done!

I got my fold over elastic online as I could not find it locally.  Just google fold over elastic and you will find lots of different designs.  I really really love some of licensed stuff available.  I think the La La Loopsy one is my favourite.  I’m sure that Spotlight and Lindcraft will have fold over elastic in stock before we know it.
