Homemade Bath Paint Recipe
You’re going to love this homemade bath paint recipe!
I don’t know about you but I struggle to get my two boys to take a bath! When 5pm rolls around, I start to prepare myself for the “fight”. Recently we tried using bath paint and this really got the boys interested in taking baths again…….so I thought i’d share this experience with you!
Bath paint is a paint that kids can use to “paint” the bath whilst they are in it! It is so easy to make you can get them to help you whip up a batch. Here is what you will need:
What you need:
1/4 cup shampoo/ hand soap/ or body wash (it doesn’t matter what kind, they all work the same)
1/4 cup corn flour
1-2 Tbs water
3-4 drops food coloring
What to do:
Combine corn flour, shampoo, and food coloring. Add water 1/2 a tablespoon at a time until the mixture thickens. Store in an airtight container and re-use!
We used an ice cube tray to hold the paint while the kids used it in the bath. Worked a treat!
PS – I would only do this every now and then. You need to be careful using too much soap in a bath.
