I See You Bundy! Guided Photo Tours

If you’ve ever walked through Bundaberg CBD and wondered what stories, colours and little details you might be missing, I See You Bundy! is a guided photo safari that encourages participants to slow down and look a little closer.
Led by visual artist and photographer William Debois, this creative walking tour invites families and participants to explore the city centre through a different lens. Along the way, you’ll look for hidden gems, quirky architecture, street art and small details that are easy to walk past in everyday life. It’s less about taking the “perfect” photo and more about noticing what’s around you.
Participants are provided with a film camera and guided through a creative exploration of the Bundaberg CBD. The activity is suitable for children aged 8 years and over, with an accompanying adult, making it a lovely option for families who enjoy art, photography, local history or simply doing something a bit different together.
There are three session times available on each event date: 10am-11am, 11:15am-12:15pm, and 3pm-4pm. Tours meet outside BRAG and bookings are essential.
Activities like this can be a great way for children and adults to connect with their local place in a fresh way. Photography encourages patience, observation and curiosity, and it gives kids a reason to notice texture, colour, shape and story in the built environment. It also turns an ordinary walk through town into something more thoughtful and creative.
For families, this is a low-key cultural activity that gets everyone moving, looking and talking. You don’t need to be an experienced photographer to join in — just bring your curiosity and be ready to see Bundaberg from a new angle.
