Intensive Manga Workshop – Bundaberg
Calling all young creatives! If you’re into drawing, storytelling, or Japanese manga art, the Intensive Manga Workshop is the perfect creative outlet these school holidays. Held at ART PLUS in Bundaberg Central, this 3-hour session is designed for ages 12+ and is led by local artist Bec MacPherson of Bexylum Art.
Running from 10am to 1pm on Saturday 12 July 2025, the workshop is all about helping budding artists refine their character illustration skills. You will explore how to draw expressive faces and bodies, experiment with poses and action shots, and work on building short comic-style stories using their own original characters.
This is a BYO materials session, so bring your favourite pens, pencils, markers or sketchbook. Whether you’re just starting out or already deep into your manga journey, this relaxed but focused workshop is a great space to connect with other fans and push your creativity further.
