1770 Festival
20, 21, 22 May 2022
The 1770 Festival is an annual commemorative event held in 1770. In 2022, the event will be held on May 20, 21 and 22.
The picturesque coastal community of Agnes Water & Town of 1770, gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef, is getting ready to fire up again this May into a colourful kaleidoscope, showcasing the incredible range of activities and attractions to be experienced in this stunning coastal location.

Relish Fraser Coast

Relish Food & Wine Festival returns to Portside Precinct and Queens Park, Maryborough for a delicious day of regional produce, impressive sessions, demonstrations, and an afternoon filled with live entertainment, beverage of choice in hand, a must. The foodie festival will take place on Saturday, 4 June 2022 and will kick off from 10am – 5pm. General admission starts at $20.
The Relish Food & Wine Festival showcases an impressive line-up of entertainment, delivers highly anticipated sessions throughout the day, features cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs, presents regional wineries and an excellent arrangement of market stalls and food vendors.

Steamfesta Steampunk Festival
June 25-26 2022
Steampunks, get your gears on at STEAMfesta festival, 25-26 June on the fabulous Fraser Coast. Gadgets, music, creativity, and family fun!
STEAMfesta celebrates the glory of Steampunk imagination and costume creativity with street performers, music, vendors, promenades, heritage streetscapes, train memorabilia, and science-based STEAM workshops. Whatever your creative passion Steamfesta aims to have you bursting with S.T.E.A.M. fueled excitement.

Mary Poppins Festival
3 July 2022
The Mary Poppins Festival 2022 is a perfect family event. It celebrates the power of storytelling and sets the scene for visitors to be transformed into their own world of play and imagination.
The Great Nanny Race, Chimney Sweep Challenge, Costume Competition, and other activities provide a chance for the community to join in with a competitive spirit. The Parade in the Park – Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, sees the community come together to showcase all the spectacle of the festival’s activities and colourful characters.

Fraser Pop Festival
16-17 July 2022
Maryborough State High School will be hosting the award winning Fraser Coast Region Pop Culture Expo in July 2022. A celebration of popular culture, games and gaming, cosplay and much more.
FraserPop will return once more in 2022 and we would love you to be a part of it!

St. Luke's Community Fair

St Luke's 2022 Community Fair is a family mega-fun day is hosted by St Luke's, for St Luke's, and for the wider Wide Bay community. All are welcome. Enjoy the biggest rides, the best food and drink, a petting zoo, all-day live music, exhibition sport, interactive activities, face painting, performers and performances, fireworks, and much, much more.
BBQ, Rock, Pop, Mime performance, and fireworks show. Held at St Luke's Anglican School, this school fundraising, biennial event is set this year to be bigger, better, and more fun than any preceding it.

Hervey Bay Seafood Festival
13 August 2022
Established in 1998 the Hervey Bay Seafood Festival is a unique and rare food experience for seafood lovers to be immersed in the provenance of every dish with a unique back story of the seafood sourced from the greater Wide Bay region. Heroes of the wild, Sandy Straits whiting, diamond scale mullet, eastern king prawns and the legendary Hervey Bay scallops are nurtured by nature in the pristine waters of the Great Sandy Straits Marine Park and the open ocean waters adjacent to the World Heritage K’gari.

Oceanfest
27 August 2022
Held in the picturesque Port Marina precinct, Oceanfest Bundaberg focuses on quality, local seafood, local wines, local beers, themed entertainment and a range of ocean orientated attractions, displays, demonstrations and workshops for all members of the family.
This event promotes the local, wild catch seafood, harvested from the Southern Great Barrier Reef and Bundaberg waters. Developed by the Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise, this event will demonstrate how proud the Bundaberg community is of our seafood industry, our tourism industry and the Bundaberg North Burnett area.
Oceanfest 2022 is an all-ages inclusive event, bring the kids along for a fun day out in Bundaberg!
