We are so very excited that the Author of books such as Possum Magic, Hattie and the Fox, Where is The Green Sheep? will be visiting us.
Mem will conduct two sessions whilst she is here one for children and one for parents, teachers and educators. The two sessions are as follows:
- 11:am -11.30am – Children’s session – Bring your children along to meet the author of Possum Magic, Hattie and the Fox, Where is The Green Sheep? and many more of Australia’s best loved picture books
- 7pm – Parents Teachers and Educators session – This is a presentation on the importance of Early Childhood Literacy aimed at parents, teachers and educators. It is not an event suitable for children.
Bookings to the parents, teachers and educators session are essential see below for details on how to book.
In conjunction with Mem’s visit the One Book One Bundy project is also running. This project promotes early language and literacy across an entire year using the book Hattie and the Fox by Mem. The focus is to raise broad awareness of the importance of early language and literacy development and building relationships between parents and children around literacy.
