NAIDOC Block Party 2026

Celebrate Culture and Community at the IWC NAIDOC Block Party
Looking for a free family event these winter school holidays? The IWC NAIDOC Block Party is set to bring the Bundaberg community together for a day of culture, connection and celebration.
Held at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct on Wednesday 1 July, the event marks the beginning of NAIDOC Week 2026 and celebrates 50 years of NAIDOC Week. Families can enjoy a fun-filled day featuring cultural performances, interactive activities, live entertainment, children's games, community stalls and plenty of opportunities to connect with others in the community.
The Block Party is designed for people of all ages and backgrounds, creating a welcoming space to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, share stories and learn through hands-on experiences. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy cultural demonstrations, music, activities for children, food and refreshments while connecting with local organisations and community members.
One of the highlights of the event is the opportunity to experience Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture through interactive activities and performances that celebrate the traditions, achievements and contributions of First Nations peoples.
Whether you're bringing the kids for a day of fun, catching up with friends or looking to learn more about the rich cultures of Australia's First Nations peoples, the IWC NAIDOC Block Party is a fantastic school holiday event to add to your calendar.
