School Holiday Adventures at Terra Tribe Farm

For kids who love being outside, getting their hands dirty and learning by doing, the Winter Survival & Homestead Camp at Terra Tribe Farm is a school holiday option with a real back-to-nature feel. Designed for children aged 5–13 years, the program gives kids the chance to build practical skills, spend time on the farm, work with others and enjoy hands-on outdoor learning. It’s a good fit for families looking for something active, screen-free and a little different during the July school holidays.

The camp runs across two weeks in July at Terra Tribe Farm in Howard, with sessions held Wednesday to Friday from 9am to 3pm. Each day has a different focus, including survival skills, campfire cooking, bushcraft, traditional food gathering, primitive tools, farm skills, homestead projects, teamwork challenges and a final fire feast.

Week 1 includes Survival Skills & Camp Cooking on Wednesday 1 July, Hunter Gatherer Fire Cooking on Thursday 2 July, and Primitive Weapons & Tools on Friday 3 July. Week 2 includes Build the Homestead on Wednesday 8 July, Farm Skills Challenge on Thursday 9 July, and Tribe Games & Fire Feast on Friday 10 July.

Sessions are $90 each, with a 3-day week pass for $240 or a full 6-day camp pass for $450. Places are limited, and bookings are required.
