Perfect Match – Brooklyn, Zee Zee and Wide Bay Kids
Wide Bay Kids Community Inc is so proud to be supporting and sponsoring Bundaberg Radiology Bears import from the USA Brooklyn Pope.
Brooklyn arrived in Bundaberg with her 6 month old daughter, Zee Zee and we are so excited to have them here!
We met Broolyn the day she arrived in Australia, and connected immediately. We knew we needed to support Bundaberg Radiology Bears and Brookylyn by becoming a player sponsor. Wide Bay Kids spokesperson, Angela Stedman said.
We’ve had breakfast at the beach and visited Snakes Downunder with Brooklyn, Zee Zee and other team mates from Bundaberg Radiology Bears. We can tell this is going to be a great season for the Bears and really wanted to be part of that.
Mrs Stedman said, Wide Bay Kids commends Bundaberg Basketball and the Bundaberg Bulls and Bears for their commitment in providing opportunities to women in sport, particularly those who are returning after starting a family.
Talented Brooklyn is originally from Texas and has played college basketball for Baylor, one of the top Basketball Colleges in the States. Recently playing in France, Brooklyn was drafted in the USA’s Women’s National Baskeball League heading to Chicago Sky! We are looking forward to the energy and winning spirit Brooklyn is sure to bring to the court!
Bundaberg Bulls & Bears first home game in the Queensland Basketball League is on Friday 1st May against Cairns with the Bears on the court at 6.30pm and the Bulls at 8.30pm. Head to WIN Stadium (Flint Street) early to catch all the action! For more info follow Bundaberg Basketball on Facebook.
