Phoenix House Ride 4 Kids
Phoenix House Ride 4 Kids is a community charity ride supporting children and young people impacted by sexual violence, with riders and families invited to come together at Lions Park, Bundaberg.
Hosted by Wide Bay MACE – Motorcyclists Advocating Child Empowerment, the event helps kick off Sexual Violence Awareness Month (SVAM) and raises funds for Phoenix House, which provides supportive, safe and trusted counselling services for children and young people impacted by sexual violence.
The event will be held on Sunday 4 October 2026, with participants asked to arrive from 8:30am at Lions Park, Queen Street, Bundaberg North. Breakfast will be proudly cooked by Rotary Bundaberg Sunrise, and stands go up at 10:30am. The ride route is still to be announced.
Riders on motorbikes are welcome, as well as people driving classic cars, trucks or other vehicles. The cost is $20 per vehicle.
This year’s SVAM theme, “No More Silence – Prevent Sexual Violence,” is a reminder that safer communities start with awareness, action and people standing together. Events like this create a visible way for the community to show support, raise funds and start important conversations in a family-friendly setting.
For families, it’s also a chance to be part of a community event with purpose. Children may enjoy seeing the motorbikes, classic cars and other vehicles, while adults can support a local cause that helps young people in the region. It’s a meaningful morning that brings together awareness, fundraising and community connection.
