Reconciliation Rugby League Community Match

Families are invited to enjoy a day of sport, culture and community at the Reconciliation Rugby League Community Match, a free event bringing people together through rugby league and reconciliation.
Held at the Brothers Sports Club Back Footy Grounds on Saturday 26 September 2026, the event runs from 10am to 3pm and welcomes everyone to come along and support the community. Visitors can enjoy two big rugby league games, featuring both men's and women's matches between MOB and the Community. Alongside the football action, there will be live music from Spargo Brothers, creating a fun atmosphere throughout the day.
Families with children can enjoy a jumping castle, while everyone can grab a free BBQ lunch, purchase coffee from Cuppa Joe's Coffee Van, and take part in the kids and adults $1 raffle. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and settle in for a relaxed day of entertainment.
Whether you're a rugby league fan, looking for a free family activity, or simply want to support a positive community event, everyone is welcome.
