Reduce, Rethink, and Reorganise your home

Reduce, Rethink, and Reorganise your home
Reorganise your home and make an Impact locally, nationally and globally! How can you make a difference in your world and on your life? What if you could reduce the amount of time you spend looking for things?
How could you rethink the way you consume? What room would you reorganise to make your life easier? What if making these small changes made an impact on; your time spent with family, the cost of living, your feeling of community and the way you affect the environment.
This year the Australasian Association of Professional Organisers (AAPO) is celebrating National Organising Week from 2nd to 7th September through showing people how to reduce, rethink, reorganise and make an impact in their lives locally, nationally and globally.
AAPO representative Carolyn Verhoef says that statistics show that the average person spends over an hour daily looking for things! This translates into two weeks every year. So, by age 50 you could have spent over a year of your life looking for things. “By reducing clutter, rethinking your next purchase and reorganising your home or office you can make a significant impact on not only the time spent looking for things but also the cost of over consumption on our environment and on our back pocket, ” said Mrs Verhoef.
AAPO will be helping people all over with free events and competitions around Australia, New Zealand Singapore and online.
“National Organising Week (NOW) is the Professional Organising Industry’s way of giving back to our communities and showing people how simple it can be to improve your world through getting organised. ” she said.
