ll Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key, a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift from her late mother.
A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman’s) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world.
It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice, and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers, and Land of Sweets.
Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Dame Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world.

SENSORY SCREENING NOTE (Modified Lighting and Sound):
This film is a family friendly (sensory) screening. We are dedicated to providing events that are inclusive to all members of the community and the importance of events that we run to be accessible to all abilities. Originally created for individuals who identify with having a disability, who along with their family and friends can enjoy a positive and non-judgmental movie experience, the cinema lights are dimmed (not darkened) and the movie volume lowered for sensitive ears. Patrons are allowed to move seats and stand, whatever is the most comfortable for them. These events are a great opportunity for parents and carers of special needs individuals to enjoy a visit to the cinema with compassion and understanding. Screenings are also suitable for ‘Babes in Arms’. Great for parents or carers of babies who want to get out of the house, watch a movie and not feel worried about the distraction of crying or squirming. A gentle introduction to cinema too, for little ones who may feel daunted by the darkness of the auditorium.
