STEAMfesta celebrates the glory of Steampunk imagination and costume creativity with street performers, music, vendors, promenades, heritage streetscapes, train memorabilia, and science-based STEAM workshops. Whatever your creative passion Steamfesta aims to have you bursting with S.T.E.A.M. fueled excitement.

Enjoy a day out in the park with your family and friends! MELSA & the Mary Ann will be running on their respective tracks for your enjoyment. Treat yourself to a BBQ lunch from Maryborough Excelsior City Band food van. Hot food and cold drinks available. Food stalls and train rides from 9am, Excelsior band plays at 10am. Bring the family down and support local talent!

The Mary Poppins Festival 2022 is a perfect family event. It celebrates the power of storytelling and sets the scene for visitors to be transformed into their own world of play and imagination.
The Great Nanny Race, Chimney Sweep Challenge, Costume Competition, and other activities provide a chance for the community to join in with a competitive spirit. The Parade in the Park – Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, sees the community come together to showcase all the spectacle of the festival’s activities and colourful characters.
