U-BEACH Community Beach Day
The U-BEACH Community Beach Day is an inclusive and accessible event designed for everyone to enjoy the beach. Held at Nielson Park Beach, Bargara, the event offers beach matting, wheelchairs, and walkers to assist with mobility and participation in beach activities. It’s all about creating a supportive and welcoming space for children, youth, and adults to enjoy the outdoors.

Led by the U-BEACH team from CQUniversity Physiotherapy, this event focuses on creating inclusive experiences for people of all abilities. Volunteers will be available to assist with transfers, including hoist support, and to help participants take part in activities like swimming, walking, kites, cricket, and sandcastle building.
This event is all about community and connection. It’s an opportunity to create lasting memories, enjoy the beach safely, and experience the benefits of the great outdoors. Everyone is welcome to attend, and while registration isn’t required, letting the team know you’re coming helps with planning.
