Pack the swimmers, towels and sunscreen and head down to WetSide Water Park in Hervey Bay, which is reopening just in time for some Spring School Holiday fun. Located on the Hervey Bay foreshore at the junction of Main Street and the Esplanade, WetSide will reopen for its 2026/27 season on Wednesday 9 September following its annual winter maintenance program. During the Queensland September school holidays, the park will be open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm. A great-value family day out One of the best things about WetSide is that entry is FREE, making it a fantastic budget-friendly option for Bundaberg families wanting to venture a little further afield these holidays. Kids can cool off in the main water play arena or test their skills on the Aqua Ninja course, which is also free to use. For those wanting an extra thrill, the large waterslides will be operating throughout the school holidays, with 10 rides costing $8.
Families with younger children should note that TotSide will remain temporarily closed for repairs during the September school holidays. With WetSide right on the Hervey Bay foreshore, you can easily turn your visit into a full day out.
