IS THIS DAY FOR ME?
Wherever you are financially, this day is for you.
You might be:
- * trying to get a better handle on everyday money
- * wondering whether you’re doing enough for retirement
- * wanting to understand super or investing
- * rebuilding financially after separation or another life change
- * earning more or less than you used to
- * thinking seriously about your financial future for the first time
- * doing okay financially, but wanting to make smarter decisions about what comes next.
THE JOURNEY THROUGH THE DAY
Session 1 MONEY NOW: Where am I financially today?
Session 2 MONEY LATER: How can I build my future?
Session 3 MONEY CHANGES: How do I navigate financial turning points?
Session 4 MONEY NEXT: Where am I going and how do the pieces fit together?
The financial sessions will be supported by interactive activities, reflection and facilitated conversations to help you connect what you’re learning with your own circumstances, identify what matters most to you and leave with practical next steps. You’ll start and finish the day with your own practical workbook, helping you turn what you hear into actions that make sense for you.

About Women’s Wealth
Wide Bay Kids is excited to have secured funding through the Queensland Government’s Empowering Queensland Women Grants Program to deliver Women’s Wealth Pathways, a new initiative supporting women to build financial confidence, strengthen their economic security and connect with other women in the Bundaberg region.
We’ve partnered with local experts in their fields to bring you practical, relevant and up-to-date information, helping you better understand your options and make informed decisions about your financial future.
Whether you feel like you have your finances well underway, you’re starting again, life has thrown you a curveball, or you simply want to better understand your options, Women’s Wealth is about giving you practical information you can actually use. You don’t need to be a financial expert and you don’t need to have lots of money to attend. The day is about meeting you where you are now and helping you think about where you want to go next.
More Than Just Financial Information
Women’s Wealth Pathways won’t be a day of sitting through back-to-back financial lectures.
The financial sessions will be supported by interactive activities, reflection and facilitated conversations to help you connect what you’re learning with your own circumstances, identify what matters most to you and leave with practical next steps.
The program aims to help women:
- * increase their financial literacy and confidence
- * better understand their current financial position
- * understand superannuation, investing and longer-term financial planning
- * feel more prepared for financial changes and major life transitions
- * understand how different parts of their financial lives fit together
- * identify practical actions they can take towards their own financial goals
- * strengthen social connection and peer support.
Participants will also receive a practical workbook and resources to help put their learning into action beyond the day.
Why Only 20 Women?
We want Women’s Wealth to be a space where women feel comfortable participating, asking questions and having real conversations about money. That’s why we’re intentionally limiting the event to 20 participants. Keeping the group small allows us to make the day more practical and interactive, with greater opportunity to ask questions, engage with our presenters and facilitators, and connect with other women.
