12 Days of Christmas - Bundaberg 2020 Program
Celebrating an amazing "12 Days of Christmas" events.
The 12 Days of Christmas program has been launched bringing a sleigh-load of festive events to brighten the Bundaberg Region with fun festive activities programmed every day between December 1 and 12.
Highlights for the kids include the Selfie with Elfie scavenger hunt, a range of Christmas craft activities and a colouring in competition.
Adults have not been left our with events to enjoy like the Dining in Bauble Street, 12 Days of Christmas Cocktails, a Christmas Degustation and various workshops.
For all the family there are outdoor movie nights, Paradise Lane Christmas lights, carols, a Christmas fair and markets and the enchanting Merry and Bright in Botanic Gardens.

Colouring-In Competition 1st - 12th December
Pick up a Christmas colouring-in entry from one of our library branches – Bundaberg, Childers and Gin Gin. Have fun colouring it in and submit it back to your library by 12 December 2020. Prize winners will be randomly drawn on 14 December 2020 and notified soon after.
The JOY of Christmas 1st to 12th December
Share some joy this Christmas by writing a positive message on a Christmas shape at any of our libraries – Bundaberg, Childers and Gin Gin. Staff will add your message to the JOY banner where it will help inspire others.
12 Days of Christmas Cocktails 1st to 12 December (Tuesday to Thursday, 5pm - 8pm & Friday to Saturday, 5pm - late)
For the month of December, the team at Bert’s Restaurant have created 12 delicious Christmas cocktails – be sure to pop in and give them a try!
A Midsummer Night’s Dream 3rd to 5th December
Riverfeast, East Bundaberg will be transformed into a Shakespearian woodland glade in this very special production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream presented by Bundaberg Players Inc. A Midsummer Night’s Dream, one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies, is the story of a complex love triangle and Bundaberg Players are excited to be bringing it to life in the magical setting of Riverfeast.

Christmas with Creative Knots Decorations Workshop 4th - 11th Decemeber
In Friday’s workshops taught by Tamara, you will create a gorgeous set of six macrame decorations made from all natural and raw
products.

Celebrate 25 years since Christmas lights were first installed in Paradise Lane, Branyan.

Bert Hinkler’s Birthday Celebrations 8th - 12th December
Hinkler Hall of Aviation are celebrating Bert’s birthday on 8 December. You’re welcome to come along and explore the aviation museum between 8–12 December and every child admission will receive a small Christmas gift.

Take a Selfie with Elfie 1st to 12th December
Three cheeky elves have taken a break from their shelves to make mischief at businesses across the Bundaberg Region. They will be disguised in shop windows and they’ll be leaving clues online to help residents track them down. If you manage to spot one, take a selfie and post it to the relevant Facebook page to go in the draw to win. Be sure to browse shop windows in your local CBD for more information on how to participate. With vouchers available in each location there’s a total of $150 up for grabs each day!

Christmas on Bauble Street 2nd - 6th December & 9th - 13th December

Bullyard Hall & Surrounds Christmas Fair 6th December
Market stalls, food and drink vendors, rides, games and live bands all day. Santa will arrive with toys for the kids and lots more. For parents
who can afford to, please bring along a wrapped gift, clearly marked with your child’s full name on it to the value of $5-$10 and leave in Santa’s sack at the entrance gate. Santa will distribute these to the children at the event.

Merry & Bright 12th - 13th December
Merry and Bright is a magical illumination display that will transform the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens into a captivating Christmas wonderland. The lights will dazzle and delight whether you view them up close and personal on foot or enjoy them from a train carriage on a free steam train ride. Café 1928 will be open along with a selection of food trucks, a nativity show, craft activities, alpacas and a visit from Santa, Merry and Bright is an event that is sure to delight young and old.
