Alexandra Park Zoo Passport Template

Alexandra Park Zoo Passport Template
Last week I took our Wide Bay Kids playgroup on an excursion to Alexandra Park Zoo and what a fabulous time we had!
We did all the usual playgroup activities like singing, reading, chased bubbles and had some free time play, but the stand out for the morning was our seek and find activity. Each child received their very own “Zoo Passport” and a stamp. We all then headed off to seek and find the animals in our passports.
The children had great fun stamping their pages as they spotted each animal and matching them with the corresponding picture. This is such a fun activity for all ages even the under 2’s.
After see how much the kids loved participating in this activity we thought it only fair that we should make it available to everyone who visits Alexandra Park Zoo.
How to make your own Alexandra Park Zoo Passport
What you need:
2 pieces of A4 paper or card
Glue
A novelty Stamp (I’ve seen these in Kmart or any of the cheap shops)
Access to a computer
Access to a coloured printer
What to Do:
Download Zoo Passport Template HERE
Print out the template
Glue the backs of the two pieces of card or paper together
Fold in half and your passport is ready for use
When the child locates the animal they place a stamp next to that animal on the passport
To make this activity suitable for older children you could add more animals, include an area for them to answer a question or turn the passport into an Alexandra Park Zoo Scavenger Hunt List. You could also include fun facts to make it more interesting and educational. If you would like to make changes to the template just email us at info@widebaykids.com.au and we will send you the template in an editable form.
So…..what do you think of our Alexandra Park Zoo Passport? If you download it and use it we’d love to hear what your kids thought of it.
