Local Speech Pathologist Sarah Elphinstone is holding a Basic Key Word Sign Language Workshop at the Bundaberg Business Enterprise Centre on the 29th June.
Key Word Sign Australia supports children and adults with communication and language difficulties and provides quality resources to families, carers and professionals.
What you will learn:
- What key word signing is
- 100 signs and gestures
- How signing can improves interactions with those who have communication difficulties
- “hands-on” fun with activities to learn & practice signs

Who should attend? Anyone needing to teach or use signing such as (but not limited to):
- Parents and carers
- Kindergarten and child care staff
- Teachers and education assistants
- Health professionals
- Disability support workers
