Beary Fun Winter School Holidays at Sugarland Plaza
Winter School holiday activities that are easy to join in can be a big help for families, especially when you’re looking for something local, simple and suited to different ages. Sugarland Plaza’s Beary Fun School Holidays program gives families two weeks of bear-themed fun, with a centre-wide Bear Hunt and a hands-on Build-a-Bear Workshop. It’s a good option for families who want to get out of the house, keep the kids engaged, and enjoy an activity that doesn’t need a full-day commitment.
The Beary-Fun Bear Hunt runs from Monday 29 June to Sunday 5 July. Families can explore Sugarland Plaza and look for eight hidden bears throughout the centre. Once children find them, they can submit the bear names through the online entry form to go into the draw to win one of 20 VIP Build-a-Bear Workshop experiences. Entries close Sunday 5 July at 5pm.
From Monday 6 July to Friday 10 July, families can also take part in the Build-a-Bear Workshop, where children can create their own pre-stuffed bear for $15. Children can choose their bear, give it a heart, stitch it up and take home a birth certificate. Optional accessories will also be available to purchase on the day. Spots are limited, so booking early is recommended.
