Brief Description of event: Drop into Bundaberg library and join a game or create something with Lego. Bring a friend or maybe make a new friend, we have board games for a variety of ages and preferences. No bookings required.

Brief Description of event: Learn about atoms and molecules, experience those endo- and exo-thermic chemical reactions, gaze at the glory of arcs of spectral plasma, and get your hands grotty with our totally safe, totally gross hydrophilic sodium acrylate slime!

Brief Description of event: Have fun exploring Gin Gin. Find 6 little signs at 9 different locations and enjoy simple activities to improve early literacy skills. Get the reading hunt map here.

Name of event: Pop-up Story Time at Watawa Recreation Trail
Brief Description of event: Make a colourful parrot, enjoy stories and play at one of the Reading Hunt locations. This event will be held at Watawa Recreation Trail, park in May Street and follow the path next to Gin Gin State School. Bring a picnic rug and some morning tea. Wet weather venue: Gin Gin Community Hub

Name of event: Geology Rocks! With Dr Joe
Brief Description of event: How do we know what the world is made of? This geology exhibit showcases hundreds of some of the most beautiful stones available! We also go on an amazing journey to explore how we know what we know about the earth, such as how old it is, why earthquakes happen, and what the moon is made of! And, naturally, we end by exploding a home made volcano; complete with vicious lava flows!
